I didnt weigh anything. All fish were caught within sight of walkers dam. That place is "thick" with perch right now.

we fished the dam area until the noise from the pile driving got to us ,then moved down river in search of better offerings but couldnt find any. when the tide started out we moved back to the dam...

I cut the herring into slices and used a circle hook with an egg sinker about 3 ft. Up the line.

Well, i only caught 1 herring and a crappie. I used the herring for cutbait and hooked a nice striper around 30" and had some nice runs i suspect were striper as well.i think there were some crappie...

I'll secondthat lansky sharpener. It will put an edge on any knife. I never leave without it . Cut bait all day and still put out nice fillet's.
