here in central florida we use grass shrimp..you can also use crickets and red wiggler worms..you will catch specks, blue gill, bream, catfish and stripers on the same rig..if you are fishing where...

yup, i still use cane poles for crappie..

You will catch bream anytime of the day and being hot don't matter..trust me i been catching them for 70 years.

one important thing is to find the depth where they are biting..use a light line with no weight and use minnows or grass shrimp..jigs will work well too but you will catch more and bigger ones with...

could be because the green light is a softer color and not so bright..

I don't think it makes much difference how you hook them but i usually hook them through the eyes.
