I would personally drive into Trinity to White Rock City marina and start fishing there. Deeper and longer creek than the others off the river.

Headed that way in the morning. Should arrive in Liberty around noon and on the house boat at Holmes Bend by the night. I would be interested in a bottle.

That place is awesome. I know in the winter time there is a dock at Lakeside were you pay five dollars to fish. Lake is known for its striper fishing. Good luck and hope you enjoy you time there.

They should, water temp still around 60*.

I know when I use willow trees and cut off the limbs to build a duck blind that looks like a beaver hut they come by and saw them off at water level.

No problem. Glad you could get one. Caught some crappie there in June of last year. You should be hitting them at the right time.
