Thanks so much for the advice on my Trim and Tilt. I added fluid, bled the system a couple of times and added more fluid. The trim and tilt now works very well. Thanks again for the assistance.

Your height and weight can eliminate a lot of kayaks out there. Key things I look for is a "dry ride"...you don't want to sit in water all day long. Stability--skinny boat probably easier to paddle...

Do not go with one that does not have the capacity to carry...

Tailgate extender works great. Easy to place the stern on the crossbar and just push yak into the bed of the truck. Use two straps for tie down. Easy to unload also. Keeps the yak from flexing...

Don't know where you are located, but if there is a kayak fishing club near by with a web site, you could probably find something very nice as a used yak rigged for fishing....

Your physical dimensions will often eliminate some kayaks, based upon their load capacity, etc.
