I average 3 to 4 crappie a min. At times I do not cast just flip so I do not have to reel :-) It is easy to get 100 an hour all day long! I have landed over 200 in an hour many times!

You can start getting crappie on the main lake sarting around march 15th. and it picks up in the canals around easter.
Try on the dock at the motel at night (under the lights).

Silver lake should start heating up soon
This time of year the crappie are out in the main lake. Look for docks, rockpiles, pilings and lily pad edges. Brush is also a great choice. Look for movment on the edge of the pads and try crapie...

do not catch many after easter they move out into the main lake and spread out and are not schooled. If I would try now I would fish the edge of the pads and deeper brush and pilings.
