This is a 2008 Triton VT-17 with a mercury 50hp motor. Humminbird electronics and a 8' power pole. I would like to upgrade the motor to a 75hp optimax in the middle of the year.

So come to find out after looking thru my rods I have a 11' & 12' BGJP. I will get a reel and try these out. I was looking for a rod that was about 8-10' long. This will give me a good start.

Thats great. My lab loves the boat and loves the water. I will let him jump off on the way in a swim back ot the ramp. He enjoys it andits good for him.
