I haven't seen any comments about the markings/coloring of this fine fish. Is it a hybrid? Anyway that's a nice looking fish; I've never seen one like it.

I don't mean to try to pin you down, but around where is Adam's backyard? Have you noticed that there are not many whites? I have been catching both, and in the same spots, but its mostly blacks....

The area you were in, and even a little past the diversion, is good fishing. I wouldn't fish the diversion (too much traffic and not enough structure), but the Petite Amite, off of the diversion...
