i have caught bluegill and pumpkinseed in the area before, and people there regulary catch l.m bass and bluegill, on the occasion crappie and catfish.

right! i had trouble picking up hits and strikes with my foam handled casting rod. this was an issue, especially when i had to detect hits from finicky 'gills. my cork handled spinning rod transfered...

at about 6:40 in the evening, i hit the ohio erie canal in coventry county. using dead minnows on a jighead, i caught a small 3'' warmouth. after releasing the warmouth, i had no luck for 10 minutes....

right! crab should be $31.99 per pound (i found the math!)

plus, using this method, should a fish ever hit and miss the hook,your minnow has a higher chance of staying on the hook.

Around the jighead shaft until it is tight. You now have a weedless jighead for minnow fishing. Use a loop knot to attatch to line. Because. Loop knots are easier to get out of the weeds.

I have discovered a method for keeping minnows out of the weeds. Just take the thread that. Your wife uses to sew your rips with. And thread it through the hook eye.then take the thread and combine....

sounds like a job for vertical jigging! just drop on to a lily pad or other structure and drop into the water. this gets the larger 'gills attention. use a jig that looks like a type of insect that...
