I don't remember reading "artificial only" for that tourney. I'm kicking myself for not getting my ducks in a row so I could have fished this one. Just got too swamped at work.

I would venture to say that they use whatever is working. I think they have some tourneys that do not allow live bait. When money is on the line I would use whatever the fish are wanting.

With the tourney this weekend, most people are tight lipped.

I have an 8ft fiberglass trolling more shaft FS. It was purchased for a bow fishing rig that has a high deck. Never been used. Not sure if you could cut it and adapt to any other TM. $100 gets it....

Fish were shallow last week but with the rain and high water that could change.

I'll be glad when bussey opens back up. Maybe some of the people will go over there.

I think there needs to be a season for the cormorants. The number of BIG fish that I've caught recently that are scared up is unreal. And that's just the ones that got away.
