We fished hard on a Kissimmee Chain lake on Sunday...and NADA. Perfect day to fish like you said. We trolled up 10 fish under 10" and pitched minnows across the banks only to get one more dink.

I've fished Woodruff and Dexter for the past 15 years on and off. Never had a problem putting boat in at Highlands, but longer trailers should be cautious. We also put in at Powell's, no dock but...

Jigging is also my favorite method for catching specks.
