Were you able to check the water temp?

Yesterday the water temp on the south end of Oolagah was 44.5 degrees. Why is Kerr so much warmer?

Surface temp in the slips at Redbud yesterday was 46.3 in the shade.

I agree with fishokla, bigger the head, bigger the fish. Some of the old timers I fish with say that they have baited with the entire 10" crappie carcuss and the blues take it like nobody's business.

Like I said I like to catch big blues as well as anyone and those are some real beauties. My go to bait is crappie heads and ribcages along with pearch heads as well. I really was not trying to be...

I wonder if you could heat the entire spoon, such as the ones in Bobo's pic and dip it in the powder paint? After dipping u could still hone the point of the hook to get the paint off of it.

I have tried this and it is great! Also try adding a little sour cream to the mayo mixture and you may like it. I liked them both.
