Going out early mornings fishing with minnows and start fishing about 10 - 12 foot deep, but keeping a close eye on my depth finder. If nothing shows up in that range then I'm moving deeper.

My experience with rising water is that most game fish move up quickly. Might have something to do with food being washed into the lake and bait fish moving shallow also.

I agree the crappie fishing will be tough until the water level stabilizes, but until then I hear the channel cat fishing is very good in the heavy flowing creeks.
