I have to agree.This years weather patterns have really confused the crappie spawn on the lakes in my area. Find them thick in some areas today and not there the next.

The ice just did disappear on Lost Land Lake and Teal lake late last week.

The ice is approx. 10 inches thick on Lost Land Lake in the Hayward area. Snowmobile trails are marked so is very safe. Just got 5-6 inches of fresh snow added and been windy.
