I enjoy using the small crankbaits, like the Cabelas Mini Dig It, for crappie but I seem to have a problem keeping them hooked up.

I do a fair amount of fishing here in the NE part of Nebraska where I live. Mostly for crappie and catfish.

Crappie were really hitting from about 7 till 9 this morning by the way. :D

Can you use superglue to help hold the tube/plastic/beavertail up against the jig head to keep it...

I've had luck with the Pond Minnows as well here and I also like the Cabelas Mini Dig-Its.

They seem to have a bit better finish on them as compared to the Pond Minnows.

I use the Omega Z02 model and am very happy with them. They are smooth and feel very well built. I also have the larger Z03 (same size as a 33) and am pleased with it as well.

Just wondering what is the best method to use when freezing crappie fillets to make sure they will be ok and not freezer burn, so i can enjoy them this winter. :)
