I have a 1986 Alumincraft and need to run a wire from the starting battery to the front of the boat for a fishfinder but cannot figure how to get the wire to the front.

My Dad used one in the early 60s, he did not filet then just cut the head, and tail off and pulled the fins out and used the "skiner" to peel the skin and scales off.
Still got it somewhere. -
