How much line do you let out when you start trolling?

Just fishing. Saturday was the first time been crappie fishing since June. I saw a lot of bait in Bush River but no crappie.

Spiderrigged in Bush River and Rocky Creek for some crappie. Didn't catch any. Anybody else having any luck on Murray?

Does 480x480 pixels on a sonar that big of a difference over, say, 240x360? I need a sonar for the box and cannot decide which to get. Is the price for more pixels worth it?
