the rodeos were indeed a great time!!!

anchor tight, find a ledge or bend in the channel, drop a minner/jig straight down and wait!!!!!! the fish WILL find you then it can be alot of action!

tubes? curly tails? sliders?? what kind of jigs work best?

i use a 12" green light hooked horizontal to a peice of 1" conduit thats bent 90 degrees at 7 ft up, easy on the eyes and very few bugs

rango used to do "rodeos" on wylie..alot of fun....we'd meet up, chew the fat a bit then fish from i think 8-12.......we all put in 10 or 20 bucks and the biggest fish won it all!!!!!!

i night fish wylie on the northern end, if your ever up in catawba creek and see a 1 legged fat guy in an old rinker you're more than welcome to stop by....... fishing minners i always use a #2 gold...

i use south point landing, BB requires me to have a sc license.......if im not mistaken you must have a license for the state you put your boat in

that non resident fee is why i go past the bridge, brett the sc side is just as good if not better, i fished that area with mr rango a few times back when i first joined c.c

just before the bridge at 7 oaks is sc, i fish just past it in nc waters

well we went last night, fished 7-12 with minners in im guessing 18-20 fow(depthfinder is on the blink) ended up not really ever getting very dark and a shower rolled through........we caught a bunch...
