Hey Speck....I like to fish the channel turns when the weather turns hot. There are also stumps along the channel sides and they hold crappie....stay deep. bet you've heard that before...haha!!!

You got that right!!! I just try to learn little parts of it and get good at those parts so i can pretty will know I'll have fish to bring home. Most lakes are way to big to master them all.

I passed over part of Truman Monday on my way back from Harrisonville. Does it all look like that area...lots of tree dipping? I mostly long pole fish, so I love dipping for them.

I spent the first 51 years in southeast mo....Scott City....now I have to learn these lakes on this side....been here about 5 years, but haven't done much fishin'... will try to do more.

I've caught a lot of crappie between Shy Noah and Holiday Landing....can't spell Chaiona??...anyway...I would work the channel edges especially at the
channel swings...brush and rubbish gathers...
