Great catch. I fished Sunday and caught a few redears but did manage 26 very nice bluegill. It's on guys...

I use them 80-90% of the time on a jig. They work really well and there's no mess in the boat. They may not out catch live bait but they are a great alternative if you don't want to fool with it.

Don't know about Cypress, but in Blood River they say it's about over. Most fishermen that I have seen have went back to the channel and flats. There may be some stragglers going shallow for a while...
