The are great to eat, but can cause one heck of a burn when they pop. Will definitely have to try cooking them at a lower temp.

Thats just the norm for me when I shoot docks. Bite doesn't get good 'til after lunch. One being the suns up high and casts a greater shade under the dock, pulling the fish in and two the water...

That's the reason I pick my dates wisely. I shoot for Tuesdays and Thursdays mostly and even then it's hit or miss with the boat traffic. I could run off on a tangent about jet ski's but I won't.

Pink/black/flo. green jigs was the color of the day....now, maybe I can go get some rest. Oh, and to those that have pm'd me, I'll quickly get back to you guys in the morning when I get up, I'm beat.

Oh and btw, the lake is still up pretty good with the docks, it would have been nice to see what we could have caught had it been about a foot lower.

We started fishing Crooked Creek at about 12 and stopped with the fish still biting at 6 and boy I hated to leave. We ended up with two limits of nice fish. So I now have 103 fish to clean tomorrow...
