Some of us are just truly blessed....my wife lets me fish anytime I want to...even goes with me now and then.....but NEVER and I mean NEVER makes me clean all the fish.....truth be told....she cleans...

I posted with pictures, depth, jig weight, color of jig doing the best and that minnows were working, the place....ect......just 1 responce.

I know it's been a while since I posted......Had a Great Day on the Pines even through the rain and cold.
Fish are just off the bottom....caught them on Jigs and Shinners.....best luck and bigger...

Just a note to say congrats on the 75 fish for the 3 of you.
I wish the limits were like LA but they are 1/2 of LA limits.....don't get caught over the limit...the fish aren't worth it. I Know.....:(

I started using power pro about 8 yrs ago and haven't had a reason to change to anything else....it is absolutly the only line I will use.

The fish have started stacking up already but with the weather changing so much right now they have started to scatter a bit.

I fished a few hours Fri. night on Lake O the Pines and caught 8 keepers, went back Sat after work, fished structure 26 ft deep just over the tops and caught a few more just before dark. The lights...

I built some with 10 ft joints of pvc in 5 gal. buckets and dropped them off the back of a houseboat.....there are fish there when I can't find them on the lake.

I'm not getting popups unless it's a crappie popping up out of the lake.

I can't fish every day but I do post on sundays when I get in.

Lake O the Pines has slowed down with the temp so high....water temp 93 to 98 on the surface.

I seem to do better on dark nights.....I think it's because with a moonlit night there is more natural light on the water and on a dark night you are the light on the water bringing in the bait fish...

You cannot swim at LOP but you can still boat and fish there. They are running tests on the water and have closed the swimming areas.
