I use a motorcycle helmet...you can get them cheap on Ebay if you look...a full face one will keep the water off you and keep your head warm when running when its cold last one i bought was like $30...

saw this on the internet today any of you guys use one of the biosonix units? if so what are your thoughts on it...worth it or not?

one of the big disadvantages of the internal antenna is if your going to flush mount it inside a console or something like that...they dont pick up well
i like the External antennas much less...

i like a lot of diffrent types of plastics but to narrow it down to only one is hard to do but it would have to be a 6" Yamamoto Kut Tail in Watermellon

i think both are great hooks and super sharp but i really dont think one is better than the other really...i use Gamakatsus jsut for the fact that they are much easier to get than Diiachi hooks

I like the Lake Fork tackle hook because of the various sizes they have in them in...i normally take out the spike on the Lake Fork hooks and replace them with the screw locks (hitchhikers) i think...

the way i have mine ran is....997 on the console to weather sense..weather sense to interlink..and my 957 up on the bow runs to the other port in the interlink the GPS antenna is hooked directly to...

i went through this same thing way back when i had put 2 lowrance units on my boat one on the console and one on the bow....Civilian GPS isnt as accurate as say Military GPS(within 3') where civilian...

i havent seen any problems with my 997 refreshing at all....when running 70+mph down the water havent had a problem yet
