For numbers and quality, I'd go to West Point. You'll catch limits of pound+ fish quickly. Veasy, Wehadkee, Wilson, and Maple creeks are all excellent creeks.

I believe there several places as good and some better than Talquin in the Southeast. Crescent is by far a better fishery. There is some TOADS in that lake. All of the St. Johns lakes and tributaries...
