started tying, and forgot all about it. It is perfect, I just tied a 1/48 oz. jig with it and it

As you may know already, I am steadily scaling-down my jig sizes - -
I am at 1/48 right now, but soon will have some 1/64 oz. heads!

The very smallest chenille I have is too large for these jigs...

I soaked a couple of them in vinegar for about 30 minutes... lightened them up a little, but
not enough to really make a difference.

I am just going to reserve these heads for darker colors like...

Today I received some new 1/8 oz. heads from a different supplier than I normally use.
The jig heads are beautiful, nice and round, clean... but the lead is a very dark color, not like
the bright...

Nice... ought to do great when the slabs are finicky.

I thought it would be a lot harder, but it is not.
Then I was given some heads in 1/48 oz. size, and wow... these...

If you guys are talking about the second jig, that color looks like Pro-Tec's "Candy Yellow"...
one of my favorites. It comes out much more green than yellow.

Cray, I have wondered about that myself, and actually still wondering. The clear seems to have
a bit of a "glitter" effect to it, other than that I don't know.

Skip, yes, they have the same foam cap liner as in TJ's jars.

Found these plastic jars on Ebay... they are perfect for my experimental colors
before I decide to mix-up a larger batch.

At 1-ounce, they are exactly half of a 2-oz. jar from TJ's.
