February on Weiss can be some of the best fishing of the year for sure... Seems like when the water temp breaks 50 to 52 degree's from the upper 40's crappie catch another gear and its time to bust...

Caught some good ones under docks at Mud Creek last week shooting 1/32 ounce Southern Pro Crappie Stingers "Firetiger" Had a couple close to 2 and some better. They were super shallow and bitting...

Dont know if your still here or not I just seen your post but the shallow bite is real slow right now dew to all the rain and the cold snap that came with it... Go deep looking for clear water away...
