I live on on it....North of Reed Bingham. Havent fished it in a few years...But used to be good redbreast fishing if you didnt mind walking.

I grew up in the Atlanta area and there are plenty of places close by to catch crappie....Some even in DeKalb County....Check out the lake at Stone Mountain Park.

Me too.....I moved to south Georgia. I still catch plenty of crappie(But I have to call them specks down here) out of farm ponds but I miss being able to go to Holiday Park or Germany Creek and...

But you might find better fishing in the larger ponds. I live in Norman Park and work in Valdosta.

This part of Georgia is a fishermans paradise...Also be sure to check out the redbreast fishing...

I didnt know what a crappie was until I was 11 and got a subscription to Field and Stream.....And that car looks sorta familiar

My grandfather was from between Eastman and Rhine.....He used to fish the river all the time around there....I cant recall him ever catching a crappie.....But he caught a heck of lot of white perch
