The timber out from Tickey Creek Park is good. Most of the trees are in about 20 foot and the fish have been suspended around 14-17 ft. White/Chart has been HOT! Also look for brushpiles from 14-20ft...

Nice catch! I see you found one with a broke tail.

It has the markings of a Black but the light Green color and face of a White. Interesting for sure.

Here in Texas it is around 65 when they are in full spawning mode. Wish I could be of more help in the part of the country you are in.

A 4.13 lb crappie is still a BIG fish! That thing would be heading for the wall.

Those Booby Garland baits are great. I really like the Black/Chart ones.

If the lake you are fishing has standing timber, that can be a great post spawn pattern. Look for Isolated trees with alot of limbs under the water and just try and find the depth they are suspended...

Barlows is great! They have a wide selection too.

I would look for where deep water comes in close to the shore. Preferably, with some type of stucture on it.

For trolling I like hooking them through the lips. For vertical fishing I like to hook them right behind their dorsal fin.

I really like the Wally Marshall 7 foot Mighty Lite rod from Bass Pro. It is very sensitive but has a strong backbone.

The crappies can have a successful spawn with the high water. Nice stringer BTW!

I use jigs 90% of the time. I do use minnows if the fish are sluggish and dont want jigs.
