What kind of water did you find them in?

No NO... its shallow, it has a lot of stickups, the water always nasty, the fishing is terrible, and the people are unfriendly. That's what you should be telling people :D

I found some last Friday along the bluffs in about 15 FOW over brush. I must have caught dozens, and ended up with a half dozen nice keepers in about an hour.

The fishing down there has warmed up in the last few weeks. I have been fishing about 12' deep in 12-30 FOW and the fish seem to be relating to cover. I usually fish LOZ anymore, but was raised on...

I don't own one. We do fish with a guide in Alabama every now in then that does, and he can't stop talking about how much he likes his. Sorry that's all I know FWIW.

LOL I'll wave back. As another poster said, I fish LOZ a lot and unless your down during the weak, a small boat doesn't cut it. I just like the looks of a fiberglass boat. Not that it catches...

My family fished out of a Bomber tri-hull for many years. It was a good boat, we just out-grew it.

I've been to Weiss several times. Beautiful lake, VERY shallow. Got a very nice crappie on the wall from down there. I've never been able to hit it just "right" though. I will definitely go back...
