Excellent. What lake/river you fishing. Old Hickory has been tough this year for keepers.

Went out Friday near Rt. 231 bridge. Found 63 degrees in most bays. Tried everything. Never caught a crappie.

I like Donaldson. Very defined creek channel to follow. I spider rig and troll Bandits along the channel. Everywhere is fair game at spring spawn time.

Hands down the best fishing for Crappie is Kentucky Lake and Lake Barkley.

SeaRay. SHHHHHHHH. Cordell Hull is a hidden secret. Once you mastered some locations it can be very good crappie fishing.
It also has some good sauger fishing as well.

Fished Lamoka a bunch back in the day. I think you would be happier with a 10" limit.
But, I never caught fish like these in Lamoka. 15 " average

Update with picture. These 10 fish are all over 2 lbs with the biggest at 2 lb 4 oz.
Never have I caught crappie like this in my life. Minnows in 2 foot of water. Full of eggs.
