If it was June or July I’d tell you it would definitely be worth a try…early march I’m not so sure, but I’d go anyway !!!
I’d start by fishing the buttonwoods across from the landing then...

The Mississippi River starts coming into Ol River when Baton Rouge reading is around 14/15 feet.
There is another public landing west/northwest of Ol River landing…I think it’s called Miss. Peggy’s...

Fished Maringouin Bayou this morning! Water still low, but pretty..!!
Caught these on black/chartreuse tubes…tight lining!!!
Fished the deepest stuff I could find..
Good fishing to all ..!!...

Not real sure where that lake is but it sure holds some beautiful fish! Looks like it favors white sac-a-lait.

Hey folks…
I fished the Jack Millers side of Grand River today. Water is low of course, but looked good…and plenty enough to fish!!! The fish seemed to be on bushy laydowns with grass beds on...

Made a morning trip to Maringouin Bayou; water is low and pretty! Caught most of these on stumps and the deeper laydowns tight lint with black/chartreuse tubes…!
