I agree very poor management. I mostly bass fish it and still catch a few good fish each year. A lot of small fish in the 12 to 14 inch range.

I still love the lake you just have to work at it a little harder.

We have stayed at Cypress Point just down the road from Blue Bank several times. Always leave stuff in the boat and have never had anything stolen.

Pressure has taken a toll on it for sure. I too see people keeping small fish all the time. Still has some good fish but not what it used to.

I hunt Jet bred dogs. Don’t hunt as much as I used to. I just can’t take it. Ed Meade has been a friend of mine for years. Looking forward to the results of your trip.

I assume you hunt blue dogs by your name. If so I do too. Let us know how you trip goes. I live in Vincennes and have thought about going up there.

We found some but mostly small fish. Wind is bad down there today and tomorrow so we fished this morning and came home. Had a hard time finding good fish.

That’s what I figured. Maybe females will move in while we are there. Never fished the bushes over there. We will have to do some looking

Thanks I saw some pictures of the tournament Saturday and several were rigging. Had me wondering.

Love Green Sullivan but fishing seems to be down from years past. Hard for me to seem to find good fish. Headed to Eastfork in Illinois tomorrow. Probably be tuff but I can’t take it any more lol.

I have the 14 foot and love them. They handle 1/2 and3/4 fine. If you use 3/4 to 1 oz I would get the heavier rod. Ed is great to talk to and deal with. Give him a call he will be straight and honest...

We stayed at Americas best value. Plenty of room for boats with electric. also price is reasonable. We got a fishermans discount. Ask for it never hurts to try.
