Targeting pre spawn crappie
Just started catching larger dark males.
Water temp is around 60*.

Once spawn has started does it stop because of weather ?
Our springs are the usual up and down hot and cold windy and rainy type situation. Question is...once the crappie begin their spawn can it abruptly stop because of a cold front ?

By lifting a rather small crappie over the dock rail. Pretty flimsy I thought since I do that several hundred times a year with other rods. But...have not had any probs with the new tip replacement.
