look at the rapala ice jigs. Lots of the bass guys use them out here in So. Cal and they are always hooking into accidental crappie.

Perris is supposed to have a crappie bite right now. Try around the beresconi beach but definitely bring cricket and wax worms for gills and redear.

Went out and caught a nice pan-fish mix. All fish were caught on nightcrawlers except for two redear who were caught drifting white curly tails for crappie....

I use maxim 2lb test or izorline 2 lb. but I have started fishing 4-6 lb trilene. I always try to fish the green lines I am not sure how much it matters but in my mind I think it does.

Checked out lake Perris a week ago water was at 59 fished 3 to 19 feet of water and got one redear but no crappie yet.

I like 1 inch bass pro shop grubs in black but I also really like the little trout magnet grubs in white/chartreuse.
