This past week the slabs are starting to chew here in Southern California. I hooked up with a few members from Teampanfish and Slab hunting we went.

They seem to work for me.

I won't say that. Perris has more fish than Skinner imo. The bluegill bite at Skinner is really tough.

They're bigger than Perris gills, but don't pull as hard must be the cooler water.

Any lakes that have a population of gills of redear can't support a population of sac perch. The sac perch lays their eggs and just leaves them for the gills and redear to feed on. They are lazy and...

I don't know of any, but there are several lakes closer to you loaded with plenty of Sac Perch. IMO these are tastier than the bluegills....
