yes, i agree with this. high, then falling with some current... that is what i was trying to confirm, i.e., that this is NOT the case right now...

so, i take this to mean the water was "normal"; with no current, so in all likelihood, no barfish...???

please give a report on deer park. i don't need to know where you caught fish or what on, i just need to know the water level; is it still falling; any current, etc. i would like to go that way and...

that is exactly why i asked earlier if anyone is on fish that would average 1.5 to 2 lbs... this ain't winter/spring saline larto white perch we are talking about. that size is hard to come by in...

i have confirmed that there was in fact a crappie tourney on saline/larto some 6 to 8 or so years ago. it was put on as some fundraiser type thing. they actually had over 40 boats show up. they...

mostly on shiners around submerged cover in 9 to 11 foot of water. water is falling so by the time you are able to go this weekend the "9 to 11 foot of water" areas that we fished will likely be 8...

we fished the saline/larto complex on saturday. had to fish hard, but ended up keeping 46 white perch; 11 catfish; 1 barfish.

thanks for the update ole evin... we have been catching relatively good #s of white perch in the lake, really before the rise; but at least 4 days last week of over 35 kept. things were just about...

can anyone provide some personal insight as to the extent of any levee bust? and was it the levee at long branch or the wier?
