lol i went out for a while off the bank and got some small gills too and 1 crappie a very slow day.

welcome hey the crappie are biting in the on ford lake in the shallows on the west side. they are just starting to bite good i got about ten males and 4 females this morning.

i use true turn also they get them good.

i am going tuseday afternoon here at ford lake again and maybe belleville lake. i hope to have better luck!

today i went out and in ford lake here the deeper water was 43 deg but the areas where i catch crappie it was only 39.5 to 40 deg so a few more warm days and they will be hitting hard and fast.

i go and check the water temps here every day i start when it hits 43 deg thats when they start moving in the shallows and i go catch them every day until the gills move into the shallows then its...

whats with all the white bass in ford lake? they are taking over! we caught 30+ last night most were over10" and 6 14"ers :cool:

are they still biting there?
