Went up to U Hwy Bridge and saw ice above the bridge at about 3/4 inch, turned around and fished back to Bucksaw caught one slab and 18 eaters between us.

There are LOTS of gar on the north end, the further north of Twin Coves you go, the more you'll see. If you are spider rigging and one grabs a rod, that's bad news. Trust me :banghead
