Crappies were about 3 foot deep in otter. The ones we caught had already dropped their eggs. I did catch a few males though up on the bank using a jigging rod. Thanks for the report on bird dog.

mytwins1999 what pit did the redear come out of? Went today to Otter and caught a few crappie between 11 to 12 inches. Wife got the biggest one. So, did my 10 year old boy.

Thought about trying out walls ramp area this weekend. Anyone have any suggestions or advice on what the crappie are doing there. Probably make the trip up on Sunday.

I've fished the bluegrass pits, seems like alot of little ones in between 8 to 10 inch crappies. Thanks for the info. The pit I'm talking about are along both sides of the road off of IN 164. I drive...

Which is a better buy the 797 si or the 997si?
