Crappies were about 3 foot deep in otter. The ones we caught had already dropped their eggs. I did catch a few males though up on the bank using a jigging rod. Thanks for the report on bird dog.

mytwins1999 what pit did the redear come out of? Went today to Otter and caught a few crappie between 11 to 12 inches. Wife got the biggest one. So, did my 10 year old boy.

Thanks Risen that's a start. I know Patoka pretty well. Just wanting to find some back waters off of the Ohio and places like that.
