I finally gathered my buck for the season, not hardly as wide as the Southerwoman's :( but a nice one. Hers had a 19 1/2" spread and mine was only 17 1/2" with one 11" tine and one 10" tine.

I guess I was mistaken about the subsonic amo. What I have uses only the primer to fire, no powder. pretty neat for plinking in the back yard without the neighbors hearing anything.

They don't make any more noise than a pellet gun, they have no powder in them. If you shoot them in a 10/22 they won't eject. I just shot one in mine to check it out.

Just for plinking and back yard shooting, the bulk packs (500 - 555) from wal-mart, for more serious shooting I always use the CCI Stingers, they pack a wallop for a .22 LR. Every one has they're own...
