Best places to launch: Probably Taylor park or Fox Park but Friendship park is usually free access, just a long boat ride to the river
Timber: lots of it up the river channel, the channel is shallow...

congrats on a couple good days....what was the surface temp while you were out?

I shall be heading out to cedar creek saturday...so i will report as well....hopefully it will be something worthwhile....but i need to scratch my spring fever itch anyway...good luck to all yall...

what high bridge does your name refer to? if its the one in central kentucky, we should coordinate this year so that we know how each other is doin on this section of the river, haven't fished it yet...

thanks for the heads up michael.....i could tell from just the few times i duck hunted out there this year that there will be plenty of fishing traffic there....hopefully some weekdays will free up...

Cedar Creek is definitely on my list of lakes to try this spring, i don't mind catching a lot of small crappie as long as the numbers are there to keep me interested...it seems like that lake will be...

the hotter it is....the more chance you'll know exactly where they will be ... on that lake anyway...

granger is my home lake...did pretty good in the spring....but haven't got out yet in this heat to hit up my brushpiles yet....hopefully this weekend will be my first chance and i hope they are there
