I have a Garmin Etrex Legend and a DeLorme PN 40. The DeLorme is nice, light years ahead of the Etrex Legend. DeLorme has a PN 60 now that is better than the PN 40.

Spray Nine should work...we use it on the transom to get the soot off after an offshore trip and doesn't hurt the clearcoat. Also maybe try Simple Green. If it's real bad, maybe hull cleaner, but...

Yes, Harris can drop or rise a foot or more. Some may be linked to the springs, but I believe most is due to rain or lack of.

I ran into the same problem out there too. Got out around 1:00 and basically rode around looking for a calm spot to fish. No bites. Did see some ducks still hanging around...Thumbs Up

Agree with cevans. Check out the DeLorme PN-40. I have one and love it. It's a huge step up from the Etrex...i also still use my Etrex.
