Did some bowfishing on Tenkiller this weekend and seen about 15 slab crappie floating in misc locations on north end of lake...seemed a little weird.

Now there is a true fish tale!! 12' crappie!!! :biggrin

The whole lake is probably carpville! The flooded shallows will be full of them on every bank. Thanks for the info...we are going to make a spear and do some native fishing...haha

When is the best time to stock fingerling crappie?

I fished a couple hours yesterday evening and managed 6 keepers. The biggest was 1#.

Bait: med minnows
Depth: 3-8' of water fishing from 1'-5' deep
Fish: 5 of 6 had eggs oozing out when landed.

Wind didnt hurt my buddy and I....we landed 37 slabs in two hours in about a 10' diameter fishing area! Biggest was 1.5# All caught 4-7 pm

Water Temp: 65-67
Tackle: black/green...
