Here in Wisconsin the law only allows three hooks in the water at one time,but most of the time I shore fish so I only have two rods out at one time anyways.

Over the past few years I have tried mini-mites only with little success.I always fish it under a slip float,and most of the time I also add a waxie to the jig.

Does anyone else have good success...

If your having trouble catching gils on waxies, downsize your hook size to a 16 or smaller,and just use a small part of the waxie.You will be surprised at how they will start biting again..The wife...
