I believe I would stick to the lower end if I were you. The Catawba looked pretty muddy when I went over it today.

The upper end is all red and moving pretty fast. Went over it at 85 at 12:30 today.
I was hoping to get out this weekend too, but don't know if it's worth it. Lots of river trash floating too.
Let us know if you go and I'll do the same.

If your home lake is Murray I'd go there or over the hill to Monticello. Should be cleaner waters at both. JMO

I ended up staying home checking off items on the hunny do list.
With my lower unit needing some work done to it, it may be a while before I get out again.
