    We've most used them for bait... but much smaller than them.

    No thats not pogies; Blue fish you can catch them at the beach in fourchon...

    they are indeed my favorite flounder bait when you strip them into long pieces........after 30 years now i end up eating 1/2 my bait !!

    might have to try them again next time i hit the coast.. been a good 10 years since i tried eating them any other way besides smoked

    Filet them a soon as you catch them and cook as soon as possible. I like them, just have to be fresh. Keep them on ice as soon as they hit the boat. Put up a good fight and fairly easy to catch when they are feeding.
