Nice red and a nice Noe. I have an old highsider myself.
Fought the wind and waves to get to one of my favorite spots and picked up this 25"er on my 3rd cast. Caught two more 22" reds and a couple short trout before heading to more protected waters. Easier to fish, just no fish to be found.

This is my second classic. My first one was a base model and then a friend
made me a deal on this one I couldn't refuse. The new LT 25 Gheenoe they have in production is really awesome.

Nice job on the restore. Check out these sites/forums when you get a chance. Great for Gheenoe owners.

They are all fun in my boat. Got drug around a little with that one. Great fighters on medium spin tackle.
Nice red. Must have been a nice ride being pulled around with a 1 fp(Fishpower) Motor.

:D Fishing is fun; Catching is better
I agree, thats a nice red, congrats on the catch. And I know what you mean about being drug around, this past summer I caught a 39" 27lb red in my little 14' aluminum lonestar. It drug me about 50-75ft with 2 anchors down. They are always fun. Thanks for the post/pics.
You can't fish with a hung line!
The area I fish has lots of slot sized to about 10 pound fish. There's bigger fish around the inlets and in the Indian River, but it doesn't take much wind on the big waters to make it no fun in a Gheenoe. I usually invite one home for dinner anyway, so it works out well.
