Florida Panhandle - Santa Rosa Beach

We are headed that way from AR on Sat and curious if anyone had any info on the area near Destin, Santa Rosa Beach, etc. We will be staying in Santa Rosa Beach area. Fished down there last year and did ok in the surf till the grass got us. Anyone have any recent info on the 331 bridge or Destin jetties or even one of the piers? Found some old posts but they were not for this time of year and I know things change depending on time of year. No boat, we will have to fish from bank, beach or wade. Appreciate any help. Thanks a bunch.

Sorry to be so late but have not been on site for a few days.
The surf is OK ... The 331 Causeway/Bridge is turning out Redfish, Trout and others at times despite the laying of a water line on the West side ... Piers are spotty (this time of the year as is the surf) Try upper end of Hog Town Bayou Earl AM. The Park at The Marinia at Freeport (spotty right now) Redfish & Trout.
