Funny thing is it don't *look* much larger than some of the 35-40lber on our lake to have that much extra weight. I wonder what kind of fight that was. I know a 25lber can play hell on a 12' sam heaton super sensitive w/ 4lb mono

I meant to behave, but there were just way too many other options available at the time.
A striper that size would tear up what I have .... we catch a few in this area with 36# being the largest I have heard of ... Right at dark yesterday one was striking and could not get close to it (fishin from the bank) that dude was big but not an 80+pounder ....
