    Default Question of Semantics

If you are fishing in water with a salinity of 2ppt and catching redfish and flounder, are you saltwater fishing?

Around here we call it brackish water. Brackish water is water that is saltier than fresh water, but not as salty as sea water.

Brackish Water is the Best! You never know what you're going to catch. Blue Cats to Tarpon to Crappie to Mangrove Snappers......Life is good.....
