black 1/32oz jig......2ft deep below a bobber tipped with meal worm......
My favorite lures for trout are Kastmasters. I like the ones in chrome or chrome and blue. I use them from 1/12 oz. to 1/4 oz. What are your favorite lures for trout?
Panfishing is fun!

I like the small rooster tails spinners in yellow coachdog pattern.
RUST NEVER SLEEPS
little cleo in 1/8th ounce for me, i like the neon green with silver patern. fish it steadily at around 6:00-7:00 and you can catch big trout.
I like pheobes and panther martins 1/16 or 1/8oz
I only fish on days that start with T, like tuesday, thursday, today, and tomorrow.
I like flies.
I generally fly fish, but a small roostertail works great when I use the spinning gear. I've also caught some very nice fish on standard marabou crappie jigs.
we do very good with crappie jigs. we have done well in several trout tournament with 1'5" tube jigs. we like red/white also yellow/white... good luck

I just posted this list on another thread so I thought I'd throw it in here too:
My trout go-to trout lures, in order, are :
-Pink salmon eggs
-Pink/natural trout magnets
-Corn flavored powerbait
-Corn
-Very small natural looking inline fly spinners
-If nothing else is working, then I might try a rooster tail in larger pools or even a small floating cricket on a shaded slow part of the stream
By the looks of the lures used, I'm guessing not many of you guys are fishing small fast moving mountain streams are ya? Hard to work a spinner/spoon properly in 8 inches of riffled fast water!
